BulletSafe Level 3A Soft Body Armor

BulletSafe makes a relatively lightweight NIJ Level 3A soft armor vest that they say stops handgun calibers up to a .44 Magnum. The best part is the price – $299. But does it work?

The folks over at Guns & Tactics aren’t just pretty faces wearing cute matching shirts, they actually test products like the BulletSafe vest. To see if it really would save your life, they shot it with whole bunch of different calibers, from .22 LR all the way up to .44 Magnum. They even tested it with the often misunderstood FN 5.7×28mm, which liberal politicians will tell you goes through multiple feet of solid steel and any body armor ever made.

Oftentimes seeing is believing and the best way to test the effectiveness of body armor is sending rounds into it at the range. Bulletsafe, a manufacturer of affordable body armor, offered Guns & Tactics the opportunity to test their product. In this special video edition of the Tactical Parent, Doug does the honors of putting the vest through its paces.

Check out the video review and see for yourself how it did.

Oh hell that .500 S&W Mag looked like it would hurt a lot. The .44 Mag, .357 Mag and the FN looks like it would hurt also but at least your guts aren’t hanging out
