Piers Morgan is Coming to Houston

Yesterday I heard a rumor that Piers Morgan was coming to a Houston area gun shop on Monday, February 4 to host his show. After some research googling, it now looks like it’s true.

Tactical Firearms

According to Piers Morgan’s Twitter account, he will be hosting his show from a Texas “gun store”, and will also be shooting (that should be funny by the way). I have yet to confirm, but rumor has it that the gun store he is referring to is none other than Tactical Firearms in Katy, TX (which is part of the Houston metro area).

You might remember that Tactical Firearms recently made headlines in the 2A community when owner Jeremy Alcede went on a radio show and supported an online ammunition ban, and then quickly reversed his position after the public outcry.

If this is true, here’s why it’s important.

First off, Piers is coming to my hometown. Personally, I want to see if he does in fact travel with an armed entourage. I think there’s a very good chance that he does, which makes him a dirty hypocrite. I’d love to get photos of such.

Second, out of all the gun shops and ranges in the United States, Piers (potentially) has chosen Tactical Firearms, who has in the past sold out on gun control issues. I’m not saying Tactical Firearms will or will not again, but I don’t think anyone can blame me for being nervous about it. And, again if true, it’s highly coincidental that Piers chose this specific gun shop.

If any of you have intel confirming that Piers will indeed be coming to Tactical Firearms in Katy, TX, please leave me a comment below and I’ll update this post. As of now, it should be treated as a rumor.

Confirmed 2/2/2013

I called Tactical Firearms and they confirmed that Piers will be there doing his show (live?) on Monday. They said that the show was not open to the public (haha, I had to ask) and they could not tell me what time he would be arriving Monday.

What a douche. I was hoping that the petition to deport him would have gone through.

I will settle for just getting him off the air.

It did go through. It got outnumbered by a petition from the Brits, saying “We don’t want him back”.

Maybe they thought no online ammo sales, would force people to come to his store and buy it instead of online elsewhere? It is odd that piers is goin to that store if its because of that reason. Maybe he thinks if he can say gun stores support somes bans it will make his case sound even better

its all planed that way piers wants to make it look like gun stores support some bans.

That Alcede character sounds like a real piece of work. Why is he still in business?

Only way PM will get off the air, is if someone would list the company/ products, that advertise on that show. Systematically boycott in public of said company/ products. These said company/ products will then pull out their advertising, and the show will then slowly deteriorate. Yes, it runs on a bigger company, but, it takes a penny to make a dollar.

Good luck with your recon and hope you get good pictures to show what hypocrite PM IS.

Please, for the love of God get photos of his armed body guards. That would be so classic!

The potential new Bill to ban some firearms exempts the House and Senate Members. So if they can protext their family, why can’t I?

I’m a little surprised that tactical firearms still exists. Nothing good can come of that tinkerbell coming to texas.

He is to be debating Dan Patrick on gun control during the show. Apparently, Patrick set this up in order to trash PM on home turf.

So why are people still putting money in his pocket?
I get that he wants on line ammo sales to stop so that people will have to go to his store to buy ammo but if he feels this way he should feel this way in the unemployment line, not behind a gun counter.

I refuse to help this scumbag with any type of ratings. He is analleged criminal and needs to go back and see his legal activity through.

How did PM even get into Texas? Don’t they have his photo up on the PO walls.

Seems to me that the owners of Tactical Firearms are looking to get out of the business entirely. It’ll be my pleasure to help them do so – they’ll not, ever, see a dollar of my money.
