AR-15 Build

AR15news.com recently had a story about new Spartan AR-15 lower receivers from 2 Vets Arms Company in Oklahoma. These Spartan Lowers were created to raise funds and awareness for The Descendants of Sparta, a nonprofit organization with a goal of reducing veteran unemployment, veteran homelessness and eliminating veteran suicide.

I purchased one of these lowers, now the question is, what do I do with it? I can’t just let it sit around…

Drawing Build

So here’s what I’m thinking. If there’s enough interest, I want to use this lower to build an AR-15 showing each step on Monderno. Not really a how-to, since there are already a lot great resources out there already, more sharing the project as I go along, including a Cerakote job. Then, when it’s complete, hold a drawing for the rifle with all proceeds going to The Descendants of Sparta. I’m thinking $5-10 per ticket to enter the drawing.

What do you guys think? Obviously this will only work if there’s enough interest.

Also, I would like to get some of the parts donated, so if your company is interested in donating something, either leave a comment below, or contact me and let me know.

    Hey guys,
Yes I would be interested in a raffle ticket!
I think it’s a great idea to raise money, being a bet myself. I would live to help out my brothers and sister!

This is a great idea, because I have no clue how to put together an AR. Lead on Brandon, and maybe I’ll build one with you.
And I’ll still buy a ticket for yours.
