Biden Guarantees Gun Control By End of January

According to the Boston Herald, Vice President Joe Biden guaranteed Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino that President Obama will pass sweeping firearms reforms by the end of the month.

This from the Boston Herald article:

“He said, ‘Tommy, I guarantee you, we’ll get it done by the end of January,'” Menino said at City Hall today. “They’re going to get it done.”

Now I realize that Mr. Biden has a tendency to let his mouth get him in trouble, but I’d be lying if I told you that this doesn’t scare me just a little, and here’s why.

Let’s first remember who Thomas Menino is. Menino and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg co-chair Mayors Against Illegal Guns, which is a group of over 600 mayors who support “commonsense reforms” like the ones currently found in New York City and Chicago.

So Biden, who is heading up the President’s effort to curb gun violence, making this guarantee to one of the country’s leading gun control advocates, is more than a bit worrisome.

Well of course Biden is going to say that, especially to someone like Merino. Do you think he’d say, “We’ll never get the votes to pass anything in the House and we know that anything in the Senate will be filibustered”?

It’s just more wiffleball bat rattling. (They banned sabres already) Nothing new here, really.

      I’m glad you’re so confident…wish I was.

It’s not that I’m all that confident, the GOP certainly has done plenty of stupid things before, but I’m of the opinion that’s there’s no use in panicking until there’s something to panic about. Talk is talk, let’s see what bills actually come forward.

And I’d really like the panic to die down a bit so I can buy a lower for less than the price of my first car.

          Who said anything about panicking?

We already know what bills are coming forward – http://monderno.com/monderno/assault-weapons-ban-agenda-confirmed/

Look, I’ve been pretty vocal saying I don’t think the AWB will pass in its current form UNLESS something else happens (false flag or otherwise). Keep your eye on the news. But it’s not guaranteed. I didn’t think Obamacare would pass either and it did. I didn’t think the Supreme Court would uphold Obamacare, but they did.

I didn’t think people would be stupid enough to re-elect the worst President we’ve ever had, but they did.

We have to raise hell EVERY TIME these jackasses introduce gun control legislature, and then vote them out the next cycle.

I guarantee Joe say 28 more stupid things by the end of this month !

      Oh definitely.

Conservatives underestimate Obama at their own peril. He’s pushed through far more sweeping and less popular legislation during his time in office. ~80% of people didn’t want Obamacare…. Confidence that the same couldn’t happen on this is unfounded.

We as a society feel its time to speak when the issue or problem is official and we wait on those appointed to speak/represent to do it for us. It’s the time to be loud and be heard individually as well as collectively! These are our rights. The corner stones and foundation for our country and way of life. Without the 2nd amendment, we lose the ability to defend ourselves from taking away our other civil rights as well. It’s time to voice your concerns responsibly and hit that panic button now before it’s too late. The threat is real and it is here…NOW.

Why do they continuously try to push bills through that so few people want. How many gun owners are going to lose when these go through? The money they put into their guns, being labelled a felon and going to jail? Instantly, greater than three million of us will be guilty! Whose going to pay for our jail time? Think!

Gun control should be done on the state level not federal. Blue states have no right to bully other states into living their life style.
