Memorial Day quickly approaches, and this year I will once again be joining team Task Force Fallen Warriors (TFFW) at the Dallas Carry The Load event.
What is Carry The Load?
Carry The Load is a non-profit organization that provides an interactive way for Americans to remember, honor and celebrate Memorial Day in dedication to those who sacrifice for us daily. Carry The Load holds events all over the country, including a National Relay that starts in West Point, NY on April 29 and ends in Dallas, TX on May 25.
You can learn more about Carry The Load here.
Perhaps the best way to see what Carry The Load is all about is to watch the two videos below. The first is a recap of all Carry The Load events, which includes the National Relay, and the second video is a recap of the Dallas event that I participated in last year.

At the 1:07 mark you’ll see me along with Monderno Contributors Brad and Matt, and two other TFFW team members out on the trail.
Dallas Memorial March 2014
I will be flying into Dallas on May 25 to join my friend, Monderno contributor and team captain Brad, Dean from 2 Vets Arms, Bill Coye of Coye Knives fame, and the rest of TFFW for the event. If you would like to join us we would love to have you, even if it’s just for a few minutes.
Please note that you do not have to walk the entire time – you can walk as much or as little as you want – nor do you have to wear a pack.
