Feinstein’s Crazy Talk

Just when you thought that Senator Dianne Feinstein couldn’t get anymore ridiculous…she does. At a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing yesterday, Feinstein completely lost her mind and started talking about hunting humans. No, I’m not joking.

Feinstein claims that “it’s legal to hunt humans, with 15 round, 30 round, even 150 round magazines.” Wow. Here’s the context of her ridiculous statement, emphasis added.

The time has come, America, to step up and ban these weapons. The other very important part of this bill is to ban large capacity ammunition feeding devices, those that hold more than 10 rounds. We have federal regulations and state laws that prohibit hunting ducks with more than three rounds. And yet it’s legal to hunt humans, with 15 round, 30 round, even 150 round magazines. Limiting magazine capacity is critical because it is when a criminal, a drug dealer, a deranged individual has to pause to change magazines and reload that the police or brave bystanders have the opportunity to take that individual down.

I would like to point out that if “hunting humans” was indeed legal (which it’s obviously not, nor is anyone suggesting that it should be) then there would be far fewer tyrannical morons running around.

This is the woman worried that PTSD makes you unfit to own a firearm? The woman who thinking hunting people is legal?

Well done California, you should be so proud of yourselves.

The last part of the sentance is the point I think she was making. “….with 15 round, 30 round, even 150 round magazines” In other words, she was using inflammatory language to fuel the argument against high capacity magazines.

Does she really think the criminal, a drug dealer,or a deranged individual will not have a 15 round, 30 round, or 150 round magazine?…

Great point made in the last sentence. I’m all too often dumbstruck by the things that come out of their(politicians) mouths.

Um, When does “Moronis Humanis” season open up, and whats the limit? I’m not a hunter just out of principal, but I might just reconsider if the right kind of “prey” becomes legal. 😉

    • Eric Lopez March 9, 2013 at 8:29 am #

      Like what kind sir?

      • msalzbrenner March 19, 2013 at 12:22 am #

The kind that present a threat to the life, liberty, or rights, of myself, my family, or my friends. Apparently “self defense” is no longer considered an “acceptable” defense. Especially considering our current legislation’s aggressive attack on legal, law abiding, responsible, citizens ability to defend themselves. As any intelligent individual, with even a miniscule iota of common sense can understand; NO LAWS WILL EFFECT THE LAWLESS! LAW ONLY LIMITS THE LAW ABIDING! So I figure we make hunting “violators” legal. It would be a twofer. Not only would it make self defense completely legally “acceptable” again, but then I could actually put some merit in the second amendment having ANYTHING AT ALL to do with hunting. 😉

I understand the point she is ‘trying’ to make. She just went wrong when she said it was legal to hunt humans. Another case of senility in Washington.
