Frontlines Special Report: Boston

NRA Life of Duty is a network that serves and supports individuals who go to work protecting and defending the safety of the American people. Yesterday they put out a special report on the Boston Marathon bombing that highlighted some of the heroism shown by first responders and military veterans in the wake of the explosions.

On April 15, 2013, two bombs were detonated at the finish line of the Boston Marathon, killing 3 people and injuring 264. For those present, it was the most horrific experience of their lives. But one group of men had experienced this sort of thing before, half a world away. It was these men who were seen rushing towards the sound of the blast, putting themselves at risk for the benefit of savings lives.
