The image above comes from the INFORCE Facebook Page.
Yesterday we reviewed the excellent INFORCE Weapon Mounted Light (WML), and in that review told you that the folks at INFORCE were reportedly coming out with a pistol version as well. Well yesterday, as if on cue, INFORCE dropped a press release on their Facebook Page stating that the Auto Pistol Light (APL) is a go and should be ready this month.
Some interesting specifics – the unit will have a 3 inch total length, 1.2 inch width, and weigh in at only 2.83 ounces. Like the WML, the APL will run on a single 123A battery and have a burn time of 1.5 hours. However, the APL will have a 200 lumen output versus 125 lumens for the WML. Since both the WML and the APL run on a single 123A, I wonder if we will see the WML updated to a 200 lumen output as well.
At any rate, I’m pretty excited about this new light, and will be acquiring one as soon as possible.
I love how “High Speed, Low Drag” it looks. Ergos appear to be different yet very practical and the color is a bit different than normal. Hope it comes with an awesome sticker price.
Agreed – it should be sub $100 street prices given what the WML goes for. I have high hopes.
I am excited about this light! I did happen to find a higher res photo mounted to an XD…

Thanks Will, that’s a nice photo. I’m excited about this bad boy too.
This looks slick. I am interested. Holsters makers scrambling to make one to fit.
Yeah I’m hoping to have one to test soon…
