LBT / 2VA Covert Pack

I’m really excited to announce a new product from 2 Vets Arms, and this time it’s not a rifle. The company best known for their awesome side charged AR-15s teamed up with London Bridge Trading to design a covert carry pack that’s a little different.

LBT / 2VA Covert Pack

The LBT / 2VA Covert Pack is first and foremost a user configurable pack designed to allow you to easily carry an SBR or broken down M4/AR pattern rifle. The backpack has several unique features, one of which is the included bag insert. The bag insert is designed as a grab and go bag (shown above), so the Covert Pack is really two packs in one. You’ll also notice that the inside of the Covert Pack is completely covered in loop, meaning that you can configure the pack exactly how you want it.

I’ve been testing the Covert Pack for a month or so now and I really like it. I’ll have a full review soon, but if you want a configurable backpack that allows you to carry a pistol and/or a rifle discreetly, this pack should be on your short list.

LBT / 2VA Covert Pack Description

Designed in conjunction with our partners at London Bridge Trading to fill the need of a true covert carry bag without looking like you’re carrying a rifle or a man-purse.

i like it but i guess I don’t understand why the insert, it appears to fill the whole pack. Why not just build the inserts features into the main pack, save on weight and bring down the crazy price by building less pack (that I find unnecessary anyway).
Granted I have not used this, and may be missing something here, just my IMHO from viewing it on the website.
The grab and go comments seems like a weak case for making this a pack within a pack, as really, this whole pack is a “grab and go” pack to begin with.

The design looks great, but wow…$325. I’ll wait for your review before I decide whether to buy one…

$325 for a range bag? Does it stop bullets or make coffee?

Pretty nice niche bag however, $325 is way overpriced IMHO.

I got a Bulldog Case Ultra Compact Ar-15 Discreet Carry Case from Amazon for about $35 and sewed some velcro in it. Works great and does not look like a gun case.

Nice but $325?!?!?!?! Is it a jet pack also? It would be overpriced at $125. I’d pay $75 for it at best.

I really like this. Can’t even come close to affording it though. Good luck with it and I hope you sell a ton!

I posted this on FB and I’ll post it here. During my 17 years in the field as a civ medic and flight RN, I’ve used my share of crappy gear. It sucks. While working as a medic for an upstart private security company, I didn’t hesitate to purchase a $350.00 aid bag from NAR. I don’t have time for crap. Based solely on the reputation of LBT and 2VA, I won’t hesitate to purchase one of these bags when the solid colors drop.

if it’s a “grab and go” bag..they why bother taking an AR apart at home in the first place and hiding it in a way overpriced bag. Keep you weapon loaded and intact and grab that thing as soon as you need it. That’s part of the problem. people are too concerned with the pissing contest of buying the coolest stuff and less concerned with the actual tactics they are going to use when real Sh!t hits a big fan! you tacti-cool yuppies make me sick. Have one rifle, one pistol, one back up for each 2000 rounds rifle 500 rounds pistol..enough food and water for a week, a place to sleep and rest….and get the hell out of Dodge when the time comes.

      +++THIS.

For my $2800 rifle I could see possibly paying that price BUT it only fits a 16″ barrel?!? For a 16″er, I have a hard time seeing how it’s $200 better than the Larue Covert; which also doesn’t fit my 20″er.

A $25 soft gig bag guitar case works just as well and you don’t have to take the rifle apart.
