As a former NJ resident, I can attest to the nonsense NJ politicians subject gun owners. The first time I went through the firearms registration process, I had a police lieutenant in the town I lived in say to the firearms division detective assisting me, “he has a gun, why does he need another one?” He said that after finding out I was a LEO. I bit my tongue and kept my mouth shut since I wasn’t sure he was kidding or not, but more importantly, I knew the extremely sarcastic New Yorker in me was going to reply with a very snarky response.

With 300 million firearms in private hands (one-third of them pistols), the overwhelming majority of gun owners ARE responsible, law-abiding citizens, which is why horrific massacres are not commonplace, but rather terrible outliers that can never be legislated away (e.g. DC, Chicago, and “Gun Free Zones”).

For several examples for the recent use of firearms for defensive purposes not typically reported by the national media please visit: http://www.equalforce.net and forward this site to others to whom this information may be useful. @forceequalizer

I don’t even own a firearm, only high end airguns as I love shooting for groups and these suffice for me just fine. I’ll tell you this though, ya all better get your selfs organized and realize ya all may have to do whatever it takes to stop this. Our Government is bordering on treason with this. My honest suggestion is organization. Boycott everything for one week, stay at home and buy nothing. Don’t go to work. You have to show you will stick together. Obama, our Government needs a make over. Also, to any LEO or military personal that carry out an order to disarm American Citizens, consider yourself a traitor.

This is beyond control, it is against the Constitution, where is our right to privacy. I may understand that anyone with pass mental issues shouldn’t be permitted to purchase a firearm but to ask people to get a evaluation is wrong. James I agree people need to pull together… but then many vated to put Obama back in office, nuff said.
ether and stop this insanity. Never have I seen a boycott work though, I really do wish people would pull tog

The UN small arms treaty endorsement is a really low blow. Sell out America to the New World Order? New Jersey should be ashamed of itself.
