Top Shot Tuesdays

One of my favorite shows on TV is Top Shot on the History Channel. The show is now in its fourth season, but if you’ve never seen it before, it’s a “reality TV style” shooting competition.

[image source_type=”attachment_id” source_value=”2360″ title=”Top Shot Season 4 Cast” align=”right” icon=”zoom” lightbox=”true” size=”medium” autoHeight=”true”]16 contestants are split up into two teams, and compete against each other. Each week, two people are chosen from the losing team to compete head to head. The winner stays, the loser goes home. Eventually the teams come together to form a single team where they compete in various challenges until only one person remains.

This season, the winner get’s the opportunity to become a professional shooter sponsored by Bass Pro Shops, in addition to the traditional $100,000 cash prize.

We’ll Do It Live!

I don’t watch a lot of TV, but of the shows I do watch (you know, shows like Say Yes to the Dress and Color Splash), Top Shot is the only show I watch live. Everything else goes to the DVR, where I of course don’t have to watch commercials.

Yes, Top Shot is just that exciting, but I also watch live because I like to hop on Twitter and interact with the show contestants like Gabby Franco, the show host Colby Donaldson, and the community.

So if you’re not watching Top Shot, and not watching it live, you’re missing out. If you are, share this with your friends, and let’s make sure there’s a Top Shot Season 5.

+1 for the Bill O’Reilly reference haha. And everyone knows that real men don’t watch Say Yes to the Dress. They watch What Not To Wear.
