We Know You’re Coming for Our Guns

Henson Ong was not the only one who gave a fantastic speech at the recent gun violence prevention hearing in Hartford, CT. Enter Rick Poach from Woodbury, CT.

Mr. Poach had a lot of great things to say, including:

We know that you, the ruling class, are coming for our guns. All of them!

Yes they are. Their agenda has been clear for a long time now. They will not stop attacking the Second Amendment until it is either gone, or so neutered by restrictions and regulations that it is no longer an effective protection of our right to self-defense. This is what they want, because only then will they have absolute control over us.

In case you were wondering, the ruling class that Mr. Poach is referring to is America’s Ruling Class, a term from Dr. Angelo Codevilla article in the July 2010 edition of The American Spectator. Mr. Poach went on to say the following:

I assure that if these laws pass, that before they go into effect, me, my family, my firearms and my money will be residing in Wyoming.

This is probably what it’s going to come to folks, which is sad on many different levels. If you’ve studied American history even briefly, you know that the country has in the past been extremely polarized along state lines, and you know what that led to. We can see it happening again, and getting worse all the time. Gun control is only the latest example.
