A few weeks ago, I spent six days in the Bob Marshall Wilderness with Sun Canyon Lodge and Outfitting. Sun Canyon Lodge is located just west of Augusta, MT, on the eastern edge of the Bob Marshall Wilderness near the Gibson Reservoir, and I wrote about my trip for Montana Vacation Blog.

Our trip into the Bob was a six day horseback trip that was essentially an out and back loop to the iconic Chinese Wall. If you’re not familiar with the Chinese Wall, it’s the name given to a 1,000 ft tall limestone escarpment that extends for over 22 miles through the heart of the Bob. It’s really a sight to see in person.
