12 Year Old Negligent Discharge in House

The video below shows an alleged 12 year old negligently discharging what appears to be a Taurus PT92 in her house. The video also clearly shows that she has very little knowledge of how the firearm works, as she can be seen struggling to even load and chamber a round prior to the ND.

The reason this is important? To remind you to teach your children about gun safety, and to never leave your weapons unlocked and accessible to children, especially untrained children. If this girl had been properly trained on gun safety and the use of firearms, this would have never happened. It goes without saying, but her parents or guardians are to blame for this ND.

Thanks to Eric N. for the heads up on this one.

Dude… I didn’t understand what the kid was saying, but it was obvious she never even considered where the round went- only worried about hiding the gun and not getting caught. It’s also obvious that nobody ever taught her to respect the power of the gun or the impossibility of “unfiring” it. The sad part is because nothing bad happened (that we know of), she probably walks away from this incident feeling even more bold and being more careless with firearms that she’s not trained to handle.

Maybe Holder and Zero have branched out and are sending guns to Turkey now?
My kids like me started shooting in the backyard around age 4 or 5 with close supervision
I started hunting on my own at age 11 and my kids started at age 12 but in my area everyone has guns, grows up with guns and has their guns in their bedroom as kids

More importantly where the hell are the parents? Why hasn’t this child been taught firearms safety. My son is 9 and he’s been taught firearms safety. He also knows without a doubt you don’t handle a firearm without an adult present period. That being said I paid for him to have private instruction from a former Air Force Special Forces that is also an NRA instructor to give him training. Not only was this focused on marksmanship but safety. He speaks his safety steps out loud before even touching a gun.they are ingrained in him.

What language is she speaking I speak spanish. Portugese. Italian and russian and my first language is spanish and I did not undrstand what she was saying. She need to have her parents or guardians shw her respect for any fire arms. The anti gun agenda is still loose and we don’ need more bad press even coming from a foreign country.
