We don’t do a lot of “breaking news” around here, but this is something I think we should cover. According to the Associated Press, Attorney General Eric Holder, the man responsible for Fast and Furious, is going to resign.
I’m sure we’ll get more filtered details at the announcement later today, but before you go poppin bottles, let’s wait and see who will be replacing him. I don’t like the timing on this, or the way it went down. Something stinks.
Update 9/25/2014 10:00 MST
Well I think it’s pretty safe to say that this has something to do with Holder resigning:
U.S. District Court Judge John D. Bates has denied a request from the Department of Justice to delay the release of a list of Operation Fast and Furious documents being protected under President Obama’s assertion of executive privilege.
Request denied, and then Holder resigns. You can read more here.
And with a couple of SCOTUS judges getting there in age, wouldn’t Obama just love to thrill his Progressive base by appointing Holder to the SCOTUS.
That’ll never happen – Holder’s Contempt case is moving forward, and the courts ruled that the Fast and Furious info has to be released.
He’s getting out before the ass pounding form Fast and Fucked up starts. Once more the crooks get to hide
Holder is a big wig politician. The only punishment he will get is the embarrassment of having to resign and Obama make excuses for him.
