The folks at ESEE have teamed up with Dave Canterbury to come out with a new brand called CAMP-LORE aimed at the bushcraft market to be released at BLADE Show. Jeff Randall from ESEE knives said:
We’re launching a new brand in 2014 under the CAMP-LORE name. Reuben came up with the name so his knife will be the first in this series. So, in 2014 be looking for scandi grinds, leather sheaths and all the other cool stuff found on bushcraft style knives.
From the video below, it sounds like the line will (at least initially) be uncoated, made from 1095 steel with a scandi grind, and be available in various lengths. As a fan of both ESEE and Dave Canterbury, I’m looking forward to seeing what they come up with.
I like Dave Canterbury also. I haven’t watched dual survival since he left the show.
Yeah he was good on DS, but his YouTube channel is fantastic.
the camp lore line is not with dave c. esee made that line as part of there esee collections. in daves vid that you posted he says him and esee are going to make “a knife”. dave went on to wanting to call it the path rat.
so dave and esee is going to collaborate on a knife. The camp lore series has nothing to do with dave c.
