Primary Weapons Systems Introduces the Glock Enhanced Duty Slide

Primary Weapons Systems (PWS), the company famous for their long-stroke AR-15 piston guns, is getting into the Glock game.

Primary Weapons Systems (PWS) reveals its brand new Enhanced Duty Slide (EDS) for Glock 19 and 17 Gen 1-3 frames.Trigger enhancement is now as easy as a field strip with this upgraded slide. The PWS EDS improves the stock trigger pull of Gen 1-3 series Glock pistols, creating a consistent and crisp 4-pound trigger break and maintaining the reliability Glocks are known for. Additional front slide serrations aid in tactical function.

Slides are billet-machined from 1704 Stainless Steel and coated with Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) for surface hardness and corrosion resistance. Models are available with standard Glock sights or upgraded with Trijicon HD Night Sights.

With Glock sights, the slide will retail for $449. With Trijicon sights, it will retail for $549. Check out the promo video.

The easy way to shoot a finger off, press check from the front of the slide! Not a bright move,

Plus you need to draw the gun to do this archaic move.

The Glock extractor, has a wee square, that protrudes when a live round is in the chamber, can be easily felt with a finger tip, even with the pistol holstered, that is how you check ready status.

Mine is always fully loaded (Glock 19 4th gen) Spare 17 round mag on left side, + Surefire light, behind it.

Clicking and clacking not conducive to safety, when training Police Officers.

Right? Why would they not jump in with the Gen 4?

Too expensive for me…much cheaper to send your slide in and have it worked on.

At SHOT I stopped by this booth 2-3 times to look it over, the concept seemed interesting. Each time a new company rep was handling the talking points. The conversation went from “these are used by people in bad places that do bad things” to you could have guessed it, “DEVGRU is currently using some of these”. I personally don’t see those as selling points to most users and more over find that kind of marketing to be a very low class show of company character.
Here is my personal heads up to companies, if you do have customers who are classified or sensitive, DO NOT roll that into your sales pitch unless authorized by said unit!
Add PWS to your list next year for SHOT Show bingo, you can guarantee a few points at their booth.
