I think it’s piece of the takedown toward front of muzzle.

      I think you’re right.

Thanks for the tip Hannah…sure looks real.

Is a slim single stack 9mm enough innovation? There are tons of ccw polymer single stack 9mm no?

Yeah there are a bunch of them, but look at the sales. Beretta is back ordered for 6 months on the Nano. Add to it that the M&P is a great gun and wildly popular, and I think it will be a huge success. I’ll buy one. 🙂

True. I guess I was hoping they would go toe to toe with the Springfield xds. But business wise a 9mm is going to be a broader customer base. Especially of this 9mm is a soft and reliable shooter.

Well we don’t know the caliber yet unless I’m missing something, but I’m guessing that we will eventually be able to get 9mm, .40 and .45.

In hanah’s shared pic the slide says “M&P 9 shield”

        • Brandon April 7, 2012 at 9:19 pm #

          Doh! Missed the 9, thanks.

Also want to point out that full reveal pic has a lot of photoshop on it. So I think the verdict of what caliber is still undetermined. And to your point it will sell out regardless.

Yeah, the heavy editing on that picture is what made me hesitant to believe it. If it’s a fake, it’s a very good fake!
