Stag Arms May Leave Connecticut

It’s being reported that Connecticut AR-15 manufacturer Stag Arms may be following the lead of Magpul (leaving Colorado), Colt Competition (leaving Oregon, manufacturing leaving Connecticut), PTR Industries (leaving Connecticut) among others, and leaving Connecticut following the passing of gun control legislation.

The Associated Press is reporting that Mark Malkowski, president of Stag Arms, spoke Tuesday with Texas economic development officials trying to lure the company, which was founded in 2003 and employs more than 200 employees.

“It’s something we’ll strongly consider,” he said, adding that leaving Connecticut would be difficult. “If you’re a lawyer with a laptop, that’s one thing,” he said. “It’s not something we’re going to do easily.”

Thanks that was worded poorly. I suppose someone should create an economic map showing all of the manufacturers that are leaving one state and moving to another so that we can keep them all straight.

THAT would be ultimate! I’ve been trying to find something of the sort. With that one picture could show other states the economic impact their poorly made decisions could have.

Come on down to Kentucky where we till have the 2nd amendment and the freedom to carry our weapons and we could use the jobs. Taxes are very low and we have a law that circumvents federal law that protects guns, that are manufactured here.

I’m confused what does the states laws have to do with this company manufacturing here? Are they pouting and now their gonna show CT? Almost everything we import into this country is from China. Maybe you should be outraged by that. Or maybe by the millions of children that go to bed hungry every night. Your priorities are Getty screwed up
