SWSF Charity Hog Hunt 2014

The Silent Warrior Scholorship Fund (SWSF) is a 501(c) non-profit organization that “awards scholarships to any college-bound person based on direct familial relationship to a Reconnaissance Marine/0321 or Critical Skills Operator/0372, academic achievement, and financial need.”

One of the ways that SWSF augments donations is by holding fundraisers, one of which is their annual hog hunt with the Green Beret Foundation.

Charity Hunting Trip to Benefit the Silent Warrior Scholarship Fund and Green Beret Foundation

If you’re interested in hanging out with a great group of people (including members of the Special Operations Forces), shooting guns, hunting, butchery, field survival skills, drinking beer, eating meat, getting a real look at where your food comes from, and supporting 2 worthy veterans charities, the Silent Warrior Scholarship Fund & Green Beret Foundation Charity Hunt might just be for you.

Mid-day informal classes will held each day. Long Range Shooting will be taught by a Marine Sniper. Field Skills and Basic Field Medical Skills will be taught by a Green Beret. Ross Flynn, a NC-based butcher will be doing a full butchery demonstration and class.

The Silent Warrior Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to any college-bound person based on direct familial relationship to a Reconnaissance Marine/0321 or Critical Skills Operator/0372, academic achievement, and financial need.

The Green Beret Foundation provides unconventional resources to facilitate the special needs of our wounded, ill, and injured and imparts unique support to the Special Forces community in order to strengthen readiness and uphold Green Beret traditions and values.
