Three New Packs from Mystery Ranch

Mystery Ranch, located in Bozeman, MT, today announced three new 3-zip packs available for pre-order: the Rush, Swift and Big Mountain, and in typical Mystery Ranch fashion, they look great.

Rush

The Rush is a mid-sized 3-zip with a low profile, multiple hydration options and the custom fit that Mystery Ranch is known for. With our brand new Adventure frame, the Rush can carry whatever you can pack. We overthought it, so you don’t have to.

Specs

Volume 2200 cu-in (36l)
Weight 4 lbs 1 oz (1.8kg)
Dimensions 19.6”x12.59”x6.29” (49cm x 31cm x 16cm)
Intended Use Climbing, Hiking
Frame System NuADV

At 2200 cu. in. (36l) the Rush is a very versatile pack size in my opinion, working well as a day pack or overnight pack as well as an EDC pack. It’s a bit on the heavy side at just over 4 lbs, most likely due to the frame system.

Swift

The Swift is a larger 3-zip pack with classic long pockets, our patented futura yoke system and a removable redirect waistbelt. With our new Adventure frame, this pack is as nimble as it is stable – perfect for when you need to pack a few extra layers (or beers).

Specs

Volume 2637 (43l)
Weight 4 lbs 8 oz (2kg)
Dimensions 23.6x”x11.8”x7.0” (59cm x 28cm x 18cm)
Intended Use Climbing, Hiking, Backpacking
Frame System NuADV

Just slightly larger than the Rush, the Swift checks in at 2637 cu. in. (43l) while only adding a few ounces in weight.

Big Mountain

Perfect for long days, overnighters or thru hiking – the Big Mountain wrangles a mid-sized load with ease and has a special center zip opening that splits the shroud giving full access to the main compartment.

Specs

Volume 3966 cu-in (65l)
Weight 5 lbs 4 oz (2.4kg)
Dimensions 25”x12.2”x7.6” (64cm x 31cm x 18cm)
Intended Use Expeditions, Backpacking
Frame System NuADV

The Big Mountain, as the name implies, is the largest of the three new packs at 3966 cu. in. (65l), and weighs a bit over 5 lbs. 65l is a good weekend pack size in my opinion.
