Just when I thought Colorado was heading in the right direction, I read this story out of Castle Rock, Colorado. California Micro-stamping Takes Effect
A California micro-stamping law that was signed by Republican Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2007 is now in effect. The micro-stamping law is the nation’s first of its kind and requires that all semiautomatic handguns to be equipped with technology that stamps the gun’s serial number into the casing. (more…)

Senate Rejects Gun Control
Today the Senate rejected gun control, and in a big way. Several gun control proposals failed today, including amendments that would have banned standard capacity magazines, increased background checks, taken guns away from Veterans, and banned virtually every semi-automatic firearm. (more…)
