Payton’s Project

There have been a few times since we’ve started 2 Vets Arms that I’ve honestly felt led to act, and use the reach and capabilities of 2VA to make a difference; this is one of those times.

Through our Crossfit Muskogee family, we were recently made aware of a 5 year old girl in our community named Payton who is being treated for recurring spinal cancer, and of a Crossfit fundraiser that is being held to help with her medical bills. Thinking of what the parents must be going through due to the fact we have a soon to be 5 year old son of our own, Amber and I have decided to put together a fundraiser of our own to work in conjunction with the Crossfit fundraiser.

God has blessed us over the last 3 years in the growth of 2VA, the opportunities we have had as well as the people we have met along the way. I truly believe God has placed Payton on our hearts and we must do what we can with the blessings we’ve received along the way.

So what does this mean you ask? Well let me tell you what the plan is.

We have a new product to our website that is a donation to Payton’s family. This virtual product can be added to your cart and purchased just any other product we sell. You will get a receipt, and we will track all donations. On March 1st, we will take every $10 donation and give that person one entry into a random drawing to win the following (winner take all):

Payton's Project

This will coincide with the WOD Fundraiser that is being held 1 March in Tahlequah. The winner will be chosen on 1 March and posted on Monderno, and will be contacted directly. At that time the money will be given to the family for their medical bills and other expenses.

I know for some folks, things are tight and times are tough, but I believe that this will be a success as God has laid this on my heart to act, and as we all know God never fails us. Thank you guys for the help, support and generosity.

I’ll stop by the website on payday and contribute. My prayers are with the family. I have a 2VA upper and knowing what great people y’all are makes me even more certain that I will continue doing business with y’all.

I have a 2VA Spartan lower. Super company run by super people. Donating now because we have our first born due in mid march. I couldn’t imagine having to go through this. Good luck, stay strong Payton, and God bless.

I realized looking at this that the very first thing I ever won in my life was a gun, a Mattel Fanner-50!. I was about seven. It looked like this:

I didn’t win the Descendents of Sparta, sadly, but here is another chance and a great cause.
If this doesn’t work, I may just have to buy one of Dean’s pieces.
