Today I would like to formally welcome GUNSTRUCTION as our newest advertiser here on Monderno. If you’re into rifles, specifically the AR15, and you’re not already familiar with GUNSTRUCTION, you’re really missing out. GUNSTRUCTION is a build and customization tool that allows the user to prototype AR15 builds using real world parts in 3D.

While GUNSTRUCTION may seem like a “toy” to some, it’s not (though it IS fun) – GUNSTRUCTION saves you time and money by allowing you to prototype your build ideas before you purchase parts, avoiding parts incompatibilities, checking co-witness, etc.

Perhaps the best way to see what the tool is capable of is to watch this introduction video.

How and Where?

So how do you get GUNSTRUCTION, and on what platforms is it available?

GUNSTRUCTION is available on the web exclusively at, and it’s FREE. No, you don’t need to be a forum member to use the app, is just currently the exclusive place to use the app in your browser.

GUNSTRUCTION on your device

GUNSTRUCTION is currently available for both iOS and Android.

Build It, Win It Contest

Each month GUNSTRUCTION, along with their industry partners, give away a completely customized rifle in their Build It, Win It Contest. All you have to do is go to the GUNSTRUCTION contest page and follow the rules of entry. Prototype the rifle using GUNSTRUCTION, and if your design is selected, you win the rifle. Best of all, they do it every month.

I think it’s also important to mention that the folks at GUNSTRUCTION are firearms enthusiasts, and they’re just getting started with this application. New parts and manufacturers are added regularly, and they are highly responsive user feedback on bugs, feature requests, etc. Still have questions? Check out the GUNSTRUCTION FAQ page for more information.

Why isn’t there a free android version too?
I’ve built three AR’S now and bought every part from my Android phone.
It looks like a good program, but unfortunately I’ll never know…

I wondered the same thing, but it’s only $1.99. Not a huge deal, and the free version is scaled down anyways.

      Cool app!
