Colorado Gun Control Update

The gun control debate has been dragging on for quite some time in Colorado. Trying to keep up with all of the moronic, Unconstitutional bills and their status is enough to make anyone crazy. Well here’s a summary of the status as of today. Long story short, it’s not looking good for the folks in Colorado.

House Bill 1228 – Background Checks fees: Advances in Senate

House Bill 1224 – Limits on Magazine Size: Advances in Senate

Senate Bill 196 – Liability for Assault-style Weapons: Senate leader kills his own bill

House Bill 1226 – Ban of Concealed Carry Permits College Campuses: Killed by sponsor

    I wonder what public opinion looks like on these measures – even though I would say the people have already spoken by choosing their elected representatives. At some point, can we just cut loose everything west of the Rockies and let them unite under the common flag of The Democratic People’s Republic of California?
