Connecticut’s Gun Control Package

The next state to enact ridiculous reactionary gun control could very well be Connecticut, and it’s a doozy.

Lawmakers in Connecticut today announced the package they agreed upon, a package they called the “most comprehensive package in the country because of its breadth”. And this time, gun control has bi-partisan support.

The Connecticut Post reports:

“We’re hoping we can reach a conclusion,” said Senate Minority Leader John McKinney, R-Fairfield, whose district includes Newtown. “We should have a comprehensive package that will be more encompassing than we’ve seen anywhere else.”

“A lot of that depends on our respective caucuses,” said House Minority Leader Lawrence F. Cafero Jr., R-Norwalk. “The goal was to set an example on how Democrats and Republicans could work together and the goal was always comprehensive. That’s not to say exhaustive. In the future, we’ll still be looking at ways to improve on issues of mental health and school safety.”

What’s In the Bill

The proposal legislation does the following:

  • Bans magazines that hold more than 10 rounds
  • Forces current and existing gun owners to register their weapons AND their magazines that hold more than 10 rounds
  • Magazines that hold more than 10 rounds that are legally owned must never be loaded with more than 10 rounds outside of the home or shooting range
  • Requires a certificate to purchase a rifle, shotgun or ammunition
  • Enacts “universal” background checks
  • Expands the state’s existing “assault weapon” ban

And so much more. With bi-partisan support and a vote that could come as soon as Wednesday, there aren’t many options left for residents of Connecticut.

You can read more here from the New Haven Register, as well as read scans of the proposed legislation.

Vote for liberals (notice I didn’t say Democrats, apparently in Connecticut even the Republicans are liberal) and this is what you get. Liberals are absolutely destroying this country in every way possible.

Well these libatrds voting for control of all the firearms are secure in their spots, their constituents or as I call them the FSA (Free Shit Army) will vote for them as long as they keep the freebies coming
I think we have been out-bred and the ballot box will never work again until everyone wakes up and the FSA will never wake up until the freebies stop and even then they will vote libtard

I also like how they are voting this BS gun grabbing laws in but say ” In the future, we’ll still be looking at ways to improve on issues of mental health and school safety”
So they will end up letting the important stuff just be forgotten
MENSA material all over that state
