Boker/Coye Production Ridgeback Sheath Update

We recently told you about custom aftermarket sheaths for the production version of the Boker/Coye Ridgeback that were available to purchase through the Coye custom shop. These sheaths are no longer available to purchase directly from Coye Knives, and will from now on be offered instead by Armordillo Concealement, and with a slightly different design.

As you can see from the photos below, the design of the sheath has changed slightly – the sheath is now smaller overall by 3/4″, exposing more of the handle. They do however still come with the excellent soft loops for horizontal belt carry.

You can purchase the sheaths for $34.99 from Armordillo Concealment.

Better than the sheath that comes with the knife?

      Way better.

        In what way?

Well if you like the one that came with your Boker RB then that’s cool, but I didn’t. The Boker RB sheath Kydex is thin and isn’t molded particularly well, and the belt attachment clip thingy was garbage. At minimum I would replace that with soft loops. Personal opinion.

I’m getting an error message saying that this link doesn’t exist. Broken link?

Thanks for the heads up, looks like they changed it on me.

Btw, I first read about the Ridgeback here and after many weeks of trying to get one, I finally did. It’s way better than I expected. Bombproof. The photos do not do it justice. It was my first Böker and I was so impressed, I bought two other knives. Thanks for the heads up, Brandon. Looks like I’ll be after this sheath too, although I’ve got no complaints about the stock one on a Tek-lok.
