The Democrat State Representative behind the ridiculous gun control bill that would limit magazine capacity and force Magpul to leave the state, just so happens to have a criminal record.
Colorado Media Trackers reported last week that State Representative Rhonda Fields (D-Aurora) was arrested in 1976 on a charge of larceny and again in 1991 on a charge of shoplifting.
Rep. Fields has sponsored multiple gun control bills currently under debate in the Colorado Legislature, including legislation to ban on magazines with the capacity to hold more that 15 rounds, criminalize the private sale or transfer of a firearm without a background check, ban on concealed carry permits on the college campuses, and increase background check fees.
You can read the rest here. The Democrats of Colorado must be so proud. One has to wonder when Rep. Fields will sponsor a bill prohibiting criminals from proposing Unconstitutional gun control legislation.
Update: Apparently Rep. Fields’ rap sheet is much longer than first reported.
