This Guy Isn’t a Gun Owner

Or at least not a very responsible one.

Remember when we told you that New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg was spending $12 million on gun control propaganda ads? Well the ads are airing, and here’s one of them.

Notice anything? Maybe the fact that the actor they hired (yeah I’m calling actor) has his finger on the trigger of his shotgun the entire time? Perhaps Bloomberg should have had his actors read the Four Rules of gun safety before making propaganda videos.

Ironically, the title of the video is “Responsible”. Here’s hoping those kids in the background don’t get in front of the jackass in the video. And these are the people that want to make laws controlling the ownership and use of firearms.

H/T to Emily Miller.

If he were responsible he would be pointing that muzzle in a safe direction , with the action open and his finger off the trigger!! i would bet he is not a hunter or shooter of any kind.. but an actor hired to spew the propaganda that bloomberg wants said!!!! So glad I don’t live in the Communist Republic of New York!!

I recently escaped the Liberal Asylum of New (Jersey) Germany, which is Bloomingturd’s suburb and the restrictions are second only to Chicago, and we see how well that slum is doing. No way is this faux Redneck a real shooter, He most likely lives in Greenwich Villiage and gets an occasionall acting job. The Director is also a Jackwad, for NOT having an expert on the set. Wonder if that weapon is registered. or is it also illegal as was the 30 rd mag, from the DC newscast, since laws are only for us, not them. Bloomy needs 6 armed goons, surrounding him everywhere he goes. Is he that hated??? YES!!!
Comperhensive background checks do not protect my rights as most Bad Guys, do NOT buy guns through legal means rather they steal them or buy stolen ones. EVERY so called law or gun control, is a BLATANT INFRINGEMENT of mine and your rights, period

There is no telling how far zealots like Bloomberg will go. You KNOW there’s a Prez bid coming in the future ( Saints preserve us) . This is SO dangerous to our cause. Simple, leadable sheep will actually believe CRIMINALS BUY GUNS LEGALLY. So they’ll all get caught by the “Background” checks. WE’RE SAVED!!! We need to do the same thing for the simple, leadable, sheep will see only about 1% of the criminals in prison got their guns legally. Bloomberg is a Poo.

Yeah Bloomberg is a asshole (I live in NYC so I have first hand experience with him). I also think this guy is a professional actor but I don’t think his finger is on the trigger. I thought so too, at first, but upon looking closer it seems like he’s covering the trigger guard with his hand. How many pump-action shotguns have you seen with the trigger on top of the magazine loading port?

I see a hooked trigger finger. If he’s hooking it around the trigger guard, that just further proves my point that the guy’s a clown actor.

Why is it EVERY major of a crime infested city wants to disarm everyone except the guys doing the crime? Could it be low hanging fruit? Take the guns from the people that follow the laws, and it will look like you’re doing something?

    • Harry March 26, 2013 at 10:54 am #

We continue to hear how law-abiding citizens will be disarmed, yet nobody has provided their plan on how to disarm the criminals.
So yes, low hanging fruit is the goal here.

I think what we should be focusing on here is the commercial itself, and not the fact that the guy is a paid actor. Because that commercial is straight up brilliant. If I didn’t know much about MAIG or the gun control fight, if I was say an average middle American whose thoughts on the 2nd Amendment didn’t go any deeper than “it’s a right and I own a shotgun” then I’d be quite inclined to believe that this was in support of good legislation that I wanted.

I mean seriously, you have to take a moment here and tip your cap to an enemy that’s actually worth fighting. The Brady Campaign was such a joke for so long, in a way it’s kind of refreshing to be facing off against someone who’s actually good at being the badguy.

Agreed, and this is a small taste of what’s to come I’m afraid.

I notice how they based this commercial around crazy uncle Joe Biden’s shotgun theory
Hell has this commercial hit TV yet?

Wow like a real criminal is going to walk into a gun store. When really cares about the gun shows most people sell face to face on the street over lunch or at a range. You can’t stop that. TOO many Guns Too Late. Any legislation is gonna lead to confiscation. The UK has taught us that and is suffering through it now. Please people don’t that person that needs bad things to hit them in the face before you wake up. Heed the warnings wake up now.

We need to start doing parody commercials n YouTube to fight these. You don’t need money YouTube is a bigger audience anyway. Get Colin in on it. Have the guy with the shotgun pull the trigger and him saying with a bleep someone come show me how to hold this right I don’t know bleep about guns. And the family in the background ducking and running. With a paid for by real gun owners who really do use and know guns.

Obviously a graduate of the Joe Biden school of gun safety.
