I don’t drink Budweiser, and I generally couldn’t care less about Super Bowl commercials, but this Budweiser ad is pretty awesome. Say what you want about Budweiser, but they certainly didn’t have to spend their money this way.Â
Check out the commercial, more background info below.
The soldier featured in the video is Army Lt. Chuck Nadd of Winter Park Florida, a helo pilot who had just returned home from an Afghanistan deployment. I was surprised to learn that the commercial was filmed only recently on January 8 in downtown Winter Park – I would have guessed it would take longer to film/edit/etc.
Well done Budweiser. You can read more here.
That was awesome.
Each soldier coming home deserves to be celebrated! I didn’t serve, they are doing the things we can’t or don’t want to do. I may not always agree with why our troops are somewhere, but I know our troops and their families sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy here in this country. I feel we should always thank our service men and women when we meet them, see them out and about. Show them the respect they deserve.
That cool
Right on! Wish their beer was a good as their commercials.
Hooah!
Very cool! They seem to always have the best commercials – this one was awesome!
From one war veteran to all those who’ve served our counry. Welcome home boys.
When i got home my ex wife had me served with divorce papers and she thought it would devastate me
I got drunk and moped for 2 days and then realized I could actually have fun then and never looked back
This welcoming in the video was a class act and every person in the military deserves a good homecoming like this
