Dom Raso for NRA News

Dom Raso, a former Navy SEAL, is one of the new NRA News commentators along with Mr. Colion Noir and Natalie Foster from Girls Guide to Guns. Up until today, we’ve seen solo news contributions from Colion, but not Dom or Natalie. Well today, the NRA released Dom’s first solo video, and it’s a good one.

In the video Dom goes after the arrogant politicians like Bloomberg and Biden who try to offer their advice on self-defense, when they have absolutely no idea what they are talking about.

It’s unbelievable that politicians, like Mayor Bloomberg, think they are experts on personal protection…these politicians only care about their own power. They know that the less we are able to defend ourselves, the more dependent we are on them. Period.

Well said Dom.

He also offered a rebuttal to high ranking military officers like Stephen A. Cheney, Brigadier General, USMC (Ret) and Stephen N. Xenakis, Brigadier General, US Army (Ret) who have come out and supported gun control.

…rank doesn’t give them anymore knowledge or anymore credibility on what you should be doing to protect yourself. This isn’t Call of Duty. Your higher rank doesn’t make you more knowledgeable about weapons. It just doesn’t. The only way for your title to mean more to the American people is to take power away from them. That’s arrogant. That’s selfish, and it’s dangerous.

Here’s Dom’s first solo video with the NRA News.
